Greater Cedar Rapids Area Help-Portrait still has some necessary volunteer spots that we are looking to fill for our event on Saturday December 5th, 2015.
Help-Portrait is a worldwide movement of photographers using their time, equipment, and expertise to give back to people less fortunate during the holiday season. The day is Saturday December 5th from 9am to 4pm plus set up/tear down time. Split shifts are doable as well.
1 – Photographer: Must have DSLR, portable studio lighting (at minimum a couple lights and a backdrop), have high speed chargers and radio triggers for flashes. If you are a studio pro, but can’t move your studio, we can round you up some lights & backdrop.
1 – Natural Light senior photographer/Candid photographer
1 – Photo Assistant: These are the people who can organize groups, help with posing, and get kids attention, able to move lighting, and assist in anything the photographers need.
2 – CD burners: burning all the family CD’s.
2 – Framers: screwdriver required. You are organizing what is coming out of the printers, cutting apart the 4×5’s and framing the 8×10’s for the families.
2 – Runners: Back up assistants and checking on all the volunteer departments to get anything they need.
7 – Family Guides: Must be a people person. You are taking a new family through the whole process ~ 40 min at a time.
