Print Friendly

What:  Cruisin’ for Camp Courageous

Where:  Camp Courageous, 12007 190th Street., Monticello, IA

When:  Sunday May 18

“The 27th Cruisin’ for Camp Courageous will be held on Sunday, May 18 from 10 am- 4 pm.  This annual event is one of Iowa’s largest charity car shows with over 300 cars, trucks, and motorcycles.  It features a large silent and live auction, kids games and activities, arts and crafts, a wide assortment of foods, music and much more!  Admission is only $5 for adults and kids under 12 are free with a paying adult.” ~ Camp Courageous.

As with most of our club shoots, this shoot is free to attend for any current LAPC members.  As always, please think about donating some images back to Camp Courageous as a thank you.  Anytime we can combine multiple passions, it’s a win-win for all, in this case (photography + beautiful vehicles + helping kids).  Links to images can be sent to the activities@linnareaphotoclub.org email and I will forward to the contact at Camp Courageous.  Remember to include an ‘Image Rights’ note in your email for your photo donation.

Cars will be arriving between 9am and noon.   LAPC members are welcome to arrive anytime after 8:00am.   Parking is free.  Gates open to the public at 10am.   Event is held rain or shine.

The Corvette Club will be arriving en mass between appx 9:20-9:30.  I’ve been told by my contact that this is quite a site watching them all parade in and Camp Courageous would like some images from the corvettes arrival.

LAPC members will tell the gate that they are with Linn Area Photography Club for free admission, though, as it is a charity event, a donation is appreciated.  Please RSVP to activities@linnareaphotoclub.org so my contact can advise the gate how many to let in for LAPC.  RSVP by Thursday May 15th.
