It's a great event every year, get you camera out and take some pictures!

Photographers needed for Noah’s Rainbow event Saturday September 3rd

This is from one of our club members:

I was asked if I knew of some people that could take pictures (of just anything and everything) for Noahs rainbow benefit concert. I know it's short notice being that it is this Saturday Sept. 3 from 3:00pm to 9:00 pm but we thought we'd spread the word.
Noah was going to be the ring bearer for Diane and mine wedding but he passed away 2 days before the wedding from cancer.
If it would be possible to pass this info along and see if any one else would be able to help us out taking pictures for this event, that would be great!
Thank you very much.

This fund-raising event is in celebration of the life of
NOAH YAMILKOSKI – 3.23.98-5.26.11
With all proceeds being donated to some of Noah's favorite charitable organizations, such as, but not limited to: Aiming for A Cure, Mission of Hope, Children's Miracle Network, the Grady Larson Foundation and Children's Cancer Connection.

Noah Yamilkoski was a young man who was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of five in 2003. After several surgeries and months of chemotherapy and radiation… the cancer returned. Noah once again fought the disease and beat the less-than-10% survival odds and was cured for five years… But Noah’s battle with cancer ended this year as he went home to heaven on May 26, 2011. Noah was truly an inspiration to all he came in contact with. He sang, danced and worshiped God with all of his heart!

Photo opportunity: short notice Saturday July 23rd

There aren't many activities these days that are FREE.

If you can stand a bit more sun, I would like to invite you to attend Warbirds Over Iowa, the Cedar Rapids Skyhawks radio controlled military aircraft fly-in.

The event is free to spectators, and is also a charity fund raiser for Eastern Iowa Honor Flight for those that wish to contribute.

The event will last most of the day this Saturday, July 23rd (bad weather will move the event to the 24th).

Here is the flier that shows how to get to the Skyhawks field north of town.
