LAPC Fall Event: Day 2 – Close Up /Macro Workshop

Day 2 – Workshop featuring Jillian Bell and Close-Up / Macro photography.
This is a “hands-on” workshop. Participants will bring their camera equipment and together with Jillian, the participants will create some incredible close-up /macro images.
Jillian is a National Technical Representative with Tamron who teaches camera skills across the country and has even published an eBook on the subject.
The IBEW Hall will be set up with a variety of close-up /macro stations for you to practice your newly acquired skills. Jillian and LAPC together will put together a series of photo challenges and Jillian will assist participants with capturing some great images.
During the last hour, she will select a few of the workshop participant's images and on a screen for all to see, and she will enhance your learning experience by doing some Lightroom and/or Photoshop adjustments.
This event is indoors so don't have to worry about the weather. So bring your camera, tripod (can't handhold these images), macro equipment (light ring/extension tubes, etc.), 2 fully charged batteries and a lot of memory cards. If you don't know all the settings on your camera, bring your user manual.
She will be bringing with her some Tamron macro lenses, so if you do not have a macro lens, Jillian may have a lens for you to test out.
