President – Justin Tedford

Vice President – Rick Young

Secretary – Patti Sampson

Treasurer – Doug Hoeger

If anyone is interested in running for an office, they should let Rick know.

November will also be our annual contest.

Amy Muggenberg stated there will be no club photo shoots in November or December.

The Church of Latter-Day Saints will have hundreds of nativity scenes on display December 1 and 2. Pam Olson is checking on our being able to take pictures the Thursday before.

Amy also reported on Help Portrait on December 1. She still needs photographers, editors, family guides, photographer assistants and food. If members know of anyone that would like to help they can go to the website and sign up. It will be held at the same place as last year plus two senior centers.

Our program this month was mounting. Rick talked about and showed a video on the choices of mounting materials which include corners, strips, adhesive tape or sprays. Ways to remove excess adhesive was also discussed such as Goo Citrus, Ultra Citrus, and orange oil fresheners.

The categories for annual contest next month are: People and Portraits, Animals, Landscape/Scenery, Close Up/Macro, Silhouette, Club Sponsored Event/Photo Shoot, Anything Goes, Emotion and Club Member Judged Category. Members can enter two photos in each category except Club Member Judged Category. It was also announced that our photographs can be from any time. There is no time restriction any longer.

Rick also announced members who ordered foam board could pick it up.

The contest this month was Paint with Light. First place was Connie Wedenmeier, second place was Sally Harms and third place was Steve Thompson.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
