For this walk, we will be exploring the Czech Village and surrounding area. We will start with some architectural shots of the museum and then head down 16th Street to do some street and architecture photography. I am hoping a couple of the stores along the way will let us come in and photograph inside. I will keep you undated on what specifically we will be able to do.
We can then head back to the river and try some panning shots of cars and bikes going over the bridge or past the park.
We will end the walk by getting some evening shots towards downtown.
After the walk, everyone is welcome to join in dinner at a local restaurant. I will have more details about where we can eat on my walk website page in the next couple of weeks. To sign up, go to worldwidephotowalk.com, click on “Find a Walk”, then enter “Cedar Rapids, IA” in the search.
The walk is free.
If you are wish to donate $1 to the fundraiser, you may, but it is not required.
The Linn Area Photo Club was established in November 2003 in order to bring together individuals in the greater Linn County, Iowa area who are interested in acquiring and developing an appreciation of the art and techniques of photography.
